In 2014, the Roblox’s Myths group was founded by Kazdam. Later in 2011, the Robloxian Myth Hunters group was founded by Jokerkid5898 as a way to communicate with other myth hunters, bringing in more myth hunters. Players would create the first myth hunting groups, such as the Roblox Myth Hunters. These Myth Hunters are usually in a team of two exploring Myth Games whenever they myth hunt.ĭuring 2008, Myth Hunting was slowly becoming popular due to the amount of Myth accounts that were being created throughout the late 2000’s. They do research and will try to make theories together. Exploration Teams - These Myth Hunters explore myth games together with other Myth Hunters.They are mostly the reason why myths are growing. Groups/Associations - These Myth Hunters are in Myth Hunting Groups or is in control of one and they will most likely have participate in a Myth Hunt which are started from HR’s group-shouting a game.An example is Mrflimflam, a popular Youtuber who records his interactions of myths, such as The Smiles Family or Grocery Gang. They may also record their interactions with a Myth. Youtubers - These people are Myth Hunters and Youtubers who would record their exploration of myth games or post their theories in YouTube videos.A popular example of a myth hunt is when Flamingo created the fake myth demonboy8929381 and started a myth hunt for this myth. These Myth Hunts are started by an HR from a Myth Hunter Group/Association.
These players are usually in Myth Hunter Associations/Groups, such as Mythsman: Myth Investigation Service.Ī Myth Hunt is a form of activity where groups or organizations would bring attention to certain myths and would investigate/research these myths. These players will try to explain these myths’ stories and they will most likely explore myth games that are apart of the myth or will watch myth hunting videos showing people who have interacted with myths as a part of their researching.
